Job Description What you will be doing: Coordinate and oversee daily operations of the Main Operating Room. Provide leadership and clinical support to perioperative nursing staff. Assign patient care responsibilities and manage staffing needs. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. Assist with complex surgical procedures when needed. Respond to patient care issues and support staff with clinical decision-making. Promote quality improvement initiatives and maintain a culture of patient safety. Experience you will need: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License (required upon hire). BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (required upon hire). NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hire. Minimum 2 years of recent Perianesthesia RN experience.
