Senior Staff Accountant

One of our clients in Marietta is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their corporate accounting team. This is a temp-to-perm role for someone who wants real ownership. You won't be stuck in one lane. You'll own close work across multiple areas of the balance sheet and GL in a multi-entity environment, and the team wants someone who looks at a manual process and makes it better. Hybrid: two weeks in the office for training, then two to three days onsite each week.

Responsibilities:

• Own month end close tasks across multiple balance sheet and GL areas
• Prepare and review reconciliations and schedules across roughly 30 subsidiaries
• Record and review journal entries, accruals and adjustments, plus flux analysis
• Identify and lead process improvements in the close and reconciliation workflow

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounting experience with senior-level GL and balance sheet ownership
• A track record of owning processes and improving them
• Strongly analytical with advanced Excel skills
• Multi-entity experience, Traverse ERP or Excel/Power BI automation is a plus
