Industrial Sewer - Pontiac, MI

Industrial Sewer Location: Pontiac, MI AZ Quality Services is seeking a qualified and flexible team player to work full-time as an Industrial Sewer in a seating facility in Pontiac, MI. CANDIDATES MUST SEW BY HAND AND USING AN INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINE! Please DO NOT apply if you are not a qualified sewer! Available Shifts 1st Shift – Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (some weekends may be required) Compensation Starting pay is $20–$23 per hour based on work history and experience. Responsibilities Must be able to sew both by hand and with an industrial sewing machine Communication with the team Participate in meetings, MQRs, etc. Routinely review defective or rejected parts Establish issue root cause Rework all parts that are able to be repaired Requirements Must sew by hand AND industrial machine Extremely reliable, responsible, proactive Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Not required, bilingual (written and spoken) English/Spanish is a plus Responsible, reliable, honest, high integrity, dependable Reliable transportation, on-time Solving basic math problems & logical reasoning Good communication skills – written & verbal Accountable Related experience (helpful, but not required) – quality control, automotive manufacturing, or seating Must move unassisted Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time on unpadded flooring Work long shifts with a flexible schedule Lift/carry 50 lbs. consistently Work in a non-climate-controlled environment Screenings Background Check & Drug Test Benefits Start at 60 days: basic tele-medicine, full dental, full vision Start at 1 year: 401(k) Application Process Applicant to provide a resume, complete an application, be available for both phone and in-person interviews, and have all documentation required by U.S. federal and state governments to legally work in the United States. #J-18808-Ljbffr Az-Quality-Services
