Front Desk Representative – Primary Care OfficeCoastal HealthLocation: Jacksonville FloridaPosition: Full-TimeCoastal Health is looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Representative to join our Primary Care team.The Front Desk Representative will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from the moment they arrive.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients in a friendly and professional mannerCheck patients in and out for appointmentsSchedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointmentsVerify patient demographics, insurance, and other necessary informationCollect copays and other patient payments as requiredAnswer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questionsCommunicate messages to providers and appropriate office staffMaintain accurate patient information and documentationAssist with referrals, records, and other front-office tasksProtect patient privacy and follow HIPAA guidelinesMaintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception areaProvide excellent customer service to patients, families, and visitorsPerform other administrative duties as neededQualificationsPrevious medical office or front desk experience preferredExcellent customer service and communication skillsProfessional and friendly demeanorStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesComfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environmentBasic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical record systemsAbility to handle sensitive patient information professionally and confidentiallyDependable, punctual, and team-orientedIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping people, communicates well, stays organized, and can provide a warm and professional experience for every patient.
