About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN - Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program, BSN highly desired Description: Must live 100 miles away. This position involves caring for females of childbearing age, pregnant patients 17 weeks gestation, and laboring patients. The role includes scheduled procedures such as C-sections and triage issues. The activity on the unit includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, and deliveries (both vaginal and C-section). Common equipment used in Labor and Delivery includes fetal monitors and documentation systems.
