Mechanical Design Engineer

Position Mechanical Design Engineer Location Hampton, NH RESPONSIBILITIES Collect design requirements in conjunction with Sales team. Work with customer to arrive at an approved socket or connector design. Provide technical support to Sales and Applications Engineering. Generate detailed drawings for machine shops. Assist Production with troubleshooting assembly. Gather test data to support R&D activities. Select relevant seed design or start a design from scratch that satisfies the requirements. Support Production with fixture designs as needed. Identify process deficiencies and develop solutions to improve those deficiencies. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum education requirement of Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proficient in SolidWorks. Ability to read, interpret, and create a variety of types of mechanical prints and drawings. Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Strong Mechanical Aptitude. Effective written and verbal communication. Attention to detail. Self‑motivated and able to prioritize tasks. Able to work independently. Drive and passion to become a primary contributor to the company’s overall success. 0‑3 years of experience preferred. This position requires access to controlled technology that is subject to US export controls.
