Position Overview Position Overview. Work Setting Combination of clinic and potential on-call duties, though call is not mandatory if the candidate is not willing. Case Mix Approximately 70% inpatient and 30% outpatient procedures. Schedule Details Immediate start required, with potential for extension. Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. Flexible scheduling based on departmental needs and provider availability/preferences. Procedural Responsibilities Endoscopy General Surgery Obstetrics/Gynecology Orthopedics Pain Management Urology Vascular Surgery Pediatric anesthesiology Thoracic procedures Experience with blocks is preferred but not mandatory. Documentation and EMR Utilization of EPIC for electronic medical records and dictation. Qualifications Required Demonstrated competence in the following areas: Spinal anesthesia Epidural blocks Venous and arterial catheterization Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) Case Log Requirements Documentation of at least 75 cases within the past 12 months.
