Within these markets, we provide strategic, operational, and due diligence support, advising reputable Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 firms, key public-sector organizations, and private equity investors.As an Associate Director, you will play a leadership role in delivering strategic client engagements and building trusted client relationships. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to solve complex business challenges, guide high-performing teams, and drive impactful results.Key Responsibilities:Lead complex client engagements, including strategy development, project planning, timelines, deliverables, and progress reportingServe as a day-to-day lead for senior clients, building trusted relationships and helping execute strategic initiativesHelp CEOs and senior leadership teams address critical business issues with solutions that advance, accelerate, and multiply valueSet priorities and manage workloads across account teams to deliver high-quality client service and meet commitmentsCollaborate across internal divisions to develop integrated, meaningful solutions for clientsDirect multiple workstreams across client accounts, ensuring alignment across teams, clients, and vendorsProvide mentorship and guidance to colleagues, supporting their development and successEstablish priorities based on strategic direction, considering multiple perspectives and interdependenciesQualifications:Bachelor's degree required8+ years of relevant experience within a consulting environmentExperience applying a broad consulting toolkit to solve diverse client challenges across industries and functionsStrong project management skills, with the ability to structure projects, establish priorities, and manage expectations across multiple clientsDemonstrated expertise helping clients address strategic, operational, and organizational challengesEntrepreneurial and innovative mindset, with a creative approach to ideas, solutions, and client workAbility to approach complex issues with intellectual rigor, sound judgment, and practical problem-solving skillsPersuasive communicator with the ability to communicate clearly, comfortably, and professionally, both verbally and in writingExperience contributing to business development and internal team initiativesAs a Teneo employee, you'll enjoy unique benefits including flexible time off policy; medical, dental, and vision coverage; long-term disability and life insurance; a 401K plan; commuter benefits; team events; snacks; and other perks.New joiners are supported by an induction program, and continuous development is a key focus of life at Teneo, learning and knowledge sharing are at the heart of this. If you are assigned to the New York office, the company expectation is for employees to work from the office location a minimum of three times a week.
