Radiologic Technologist

This position provides radiographic services to patients while ensuring the highest safety and quality standards. Job Duties Verify physician orders and procedures for accuracy. Use radiology information systems to facilitate patient care. Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding. Operate imaging equipment independently according to protocol, including placement of nasogastric tubes, IVs, urinary catheters, and administration of contrast. Review patient images before transmission to confirm diagnostic quality. Complete timely quality‑control procedures and perform notifications or remediation when necessary. Assist with departmental operations: inventory, staff scheduling, and equipment maintenance. Adapt communication style to the specific patient population, respecting privacy and eliciting permissions. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Completion of an approved radiologic technology program. No prior work experience required; experience is preferred. Certifications Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or eligible within 90 days of employment. Current unrestricted state license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 24/7, weekends, holidays, and on‑call availability, and to travel between facilities.
