Job Summary We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the operating room to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. This role requires a commitment to high standards and collaboration with the surgical services team. Responsibilities Understand aseptic technique and maintain a sterile field during procedures or patient prep. Determine appropriate areas to prep for different types of procedures. Assess the patient prior to surgery, confirm understanding of the procedure and conduct a “timeout” with the peri‑operative team. Demonstrate teamwork, adapt to changes, and serve as a resource to the surgical services team. Deliver quality nursing care services and promote a positive image of nursing. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an RN in an operating room setting. Current RN license in Texas or multi‑state compact license (must obtain Texas RN license within 90 days of hire). Current BLS and ACLS certification. CNOR certification preferred.
