Registered Nurse ICU

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced, adult to geriatric ICU setting. This role emphasizes flexibility, adherence to clinical protocols, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, adapting care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital policies and protocols.
• Utilize Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems to document and communicate patient information.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with certifications and hospital safety standards.
• Float across ICU and other unit types, demonstrating flexibility in scheduling and unit coverage.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license for Georgia or a Compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience, with potential for first-time travelers.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication tools.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float between units.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
