Mancan is working with a company in Killbuck looking for furniture assemblers and sanders. Pay is $20/hour. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 5am-3:30pm with overtime on Fridays from 5am-1:30pm as needed. This is a temp to hire opportunity!
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble wooden furniture components using hand tools, power tools, fasteners, and adhesives.
- Inspect and test assembled products for quality and alignment to specifications.
- Sand wooden surfaces using hand sanders, power sanders, and sanding blocks.
- Ensure all components are properly prepped for staining, painting, or sealing.
- Collaborate with other team members in the production process to meet deadlines and quality standards. Qualifications:
- Prior experience in furniture assembly and/or sanding preferred. Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina; able to lift and move heavy components.
