Job Title: Technician II – Industrial Mechanical What we are looking for: A Technician II – Industrial Mechanical will have experience in a manufacturing environment installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, as well as the physical structure of an industrial facility Observe and inspect our machinery and facility and to make recommendations for changes in procedures and structures. Install, maintain, inspect, and initiate repairs and correction of machinery and equipment. Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers, electrical and electronic components of automated machinery. Locate parts and prices to effect repairs, complete required forms for purchases. Use the National Electrical Code, manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints to diagnose and repair equipment. Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machinery and associated equipment. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed using Fixx work order system. Keep work area in clean, safe, and orderly manner Operate forklift or boom lift. Other duties as assigned High School Diploma or GED 2+ years in Industrial Mechanical/Machinist 2 years or more in machine based Industrial Electrical/Electronics, Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to operate various Saws, drills, bench tools and hand tools. Familiar with work order systems Certification High School and Trade School or Apprenticeship. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to work at heights over 100 feet occasionally. Occasional overtime and extended hours maybe needed.
