Project Coordinator

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves project coordination for technology implementations, upgrades, and conversions. The ideal candidate will manage resources across various lines of business, balance technical requirements with scheduling, and ensure milestone delivery. This position requires proactive problem-solving to mitigate issues and maintain project timelines while managing stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle project coordination responsibilities relating to technology implementations, upgrades, conversions, and recovery
• Manage and coordinate resources within and across various lines of business and have matrix management responsibility
• Balance soft skills, technical requirements, scheduling, and milestone delivery of the technical solution
• Define and evaluate problems and plan effective solutions
• Identify possible issues before they become a problem and successfully mitigate to keep the project on schedule
• Succinctly present progress as well as issues, and provide possible solutions
• Understand and continually manage project expectations with management, team members and stakeholders
• Identify changing priorities within the project and move resources to continue the most effective use of their time
• Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative manner
• Maintain system of records related to inventory detail updates

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of Telecom deliverables, i.e., Avaya, Cisco and Ribbon voice technologies
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation engagement skills including presenting to senior leaders
• Adaptive learning capability to utilize new systems and/or processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Productivity Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a strong mix of technology delivery, governance/change management/project delivery
• Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends, based on project schedules

Desired skills:

• Experience with BMC Remedy Tools (Change Management)
• ServiceNow experience
• Network Knowledge (IP Management/DHCP Address)

Pay range: $50.39 - $58.39 per hour
