Job Summary:
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Springfield, Missouri. This is a nights shift role working three 12-hour shifts per week, starting on July 6, 2026. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. The position involves providing direct patient care to neonatal patients in a Level 3 NICU setting, with a minimum of two years of NICU experience, including vent management and PICU/Pediatric experience.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 3x12, 1900-0700, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN License in Missouri or eligibility for licensure in Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications, at least 2 years of NICU experience with vent management and PICU/Pediatric experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: 2 years in a Level 3 or higher NICU.
• Additional Information: Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and candidates must be available for the entire week. Performs direct patient care activities across all age groups, coordinates care with ancillary departments, and functions within the scope of nursing practice per the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
• Vaccinations: Flu vaccination or Mercy Approved Exemption required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1; declinations are not accepted.
