To be eligible at the GS-13 level, you must meet one full year of specialized experience as defined below. Specialized Experience: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. applying analytical skills in researching assets and defining problems, gathering information and/or evidence, deciphering information and/or evidence and reporting results in assigned cases; applying knowledge of intelligence, research, forecasting, and other analytical methodologies; investigating and assists appropriate attorney or law enforcement official in the analysis and compilation of documents and information to include significant findings and conclusions, recommendations for additional investigative actions, and candid assessments of strengths and weaknesses of information, documents, and/or evidence, or other aspects of cases; planning and conducting complex financial investigations. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
