Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Engages in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.Basic QualificationsGenerally has 8+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.Advanced understanding and experience completing root cause analysis and corrective action planningAdvanced understanding of AS9100 standard and experience with reviewing or performing AS9102 First Article InspectionsAdvances understanding of statistical and data analytic skillsAbility to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured productsAn understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Desired SkillsSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt CertifiedExperience with Minitab, Tableau, and Business Objects for data analytic/dashboard creationF-35 production operations experienceExperience in project management methodologiesExperience with Low Observable (LO) Finishes/Coating Technology and/or processesExperience with Product-Quality methods either from the quality or manufacturing perspectiveAbility to effectively navigate complex product and process-related requirements to validate nonconformances and develop corrective actions in coordination with DCMA and Production colleagues.Experience with Microsoft Office Systems, Shop Floor Manager (SFM) or similar manufacturing management systems, Product Data Management (PDM) or similar engineering database, Quality Assurance Documentation System (APRISO) or similar system.American Society for Quality (ASQ): Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQOE) certification.Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations.Conduct/coordinate process and product evaluations and assessments.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
