Product Designer

Job Description We’re looking for a Product Designer to create intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences across our web and mobile products. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and other stakeholders to solve complex problems through thoughtful design and data-informed decision making. This role requires a strong understanding of UX and UI design principles, exceptional communication skills, and expert proficiency in Figma. This is a role in our audience development digital marketing group and will focus on platforms that include the Bravo, NBC Insider, Peacock Blog consumer facing web platforms along with our B2B NBC Affiliate Marketing application. This is an onsite role in our New York or LA Office where expectations are being in Office Monday through Thursday and remote day on Fridays. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design process from discovery through final implementation. Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering and Stakeholders to define product requirements and user experiences. Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs. Design responsive experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms. Develop and maintain design systems, component libraries, and interaction patterns. Conduct competitive analysis and incorporate user research and usability findings into design decisions. Develop interactive prototypes to communicate concepts and validate solutions. Work within and contribute to the company’s design system to ensure consistency and scalability. Present design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Partner with developers during implementation to ensure design quality and accuracy. Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, experimentation, and business goals. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product design. Basic Requirements: 3+ years of experience designing digital products for web and/or mobile applications. Advanced proficiency in Figma is required, including: Auto Layout Components and Variants Variables Design Systems Interactive Prototyping Dev Mode and developer handoff Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work and problem-solving skills. Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, and visual design. Experience creating wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes. Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and present work to stakeholders. Experience working within Agile product development teams. Strong collaboration, organization, and time management skills. Produces high-quality Figma files that are organized, scalable, and developer-friendly. Uses research, analytics, and user feedback to continuously improve product experiences. Contributes to the evolution of the design system and overall design quality. Additional Requirements: Hybrid : This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
