Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,029 per week

Position Details Fusion Medical Staffing – Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment in Sheridan, Wyoming. Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 07/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Utilize standardized assessments and clinical observation to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population. Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidence‑based practices. Continuously assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain detailed, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies, home‑based exercises, and safe swallowing practices, while offering supportive counseling as required. Work in conjunction with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate a comprehensive approach to patient care. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards while addressing patients’ comfort needs during therapy sessions. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to remain current with best practices in speech language therapy. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Required Qualifications Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology. Prior Speech Language Pathology experience; new graduates are welcome. Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Proficiency in PC skills. Physical abilities: remaining stationary, moving equipment (50‑100 lbs), pushing, pulling, bending. Interpersonal skills: working effectively with a variety of personnel to present a positive attitude and professionalism. Technical/motor skills: fine manipulation, push/pull, and movement assistance during procedures. Mental requirements: coping with frequent public contact, meeting deadlines, working under supervision occasionally and independently, managing irregular schedules, maintaining concentration on details.
