As a Medical Device Assembler, your work directly supports products patients depend on every day.What You'll Be DoingWorking within a manufacturing cell and under close supervision, you'll help assemble and support the production of medical devices such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related assemblies. Responsibilities may include:Assemble, repair, and test medical device components using standardized work instructionsPerform routine production tasks with a strong focus on quality and consistencyComplete and maintain accurate job and quality documentation to support traceabilityPerform visual and functional inspections to confirm product qualityPartner with supervisors and teammates to meet production goals and quality standardsYou'll also be expected to:Communicate ideas, issues, and solutions clearly (verbal and written)Maintain a positive, professional attitude with coworkers and visitorsFollow all safety guidelines and use required safety equipmentParticipate in continuous improvement and quality initiativesSupport Lean Manufacturing practices and cell performance metricsContribute to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and applicable regulatory requirementsWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructionsComfortable using computers and electronic data collection systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to work with small componentsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyEnglish proficiencyAbility to commute to Westfield, IN 46074Ability to work in personPreferred Qualifications2+ years of mechanical assembly experience2+ years of quality inspection experience2+ years in a role requiring high attention to detailBasic understanding of Lean Manufacturing conceptsWhy This MattersYour work helps ensure the quality, safety, and reliability of devices that patients rely on.
