Staff Accountant

About the Opportunity:
\nSayva Solutions is partnering with a high-growth professional services firm to hire a Staff Accountant for their advisory accounting team. This role supports outsourced accounting and advisory engagements across a diverse client base, helping with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting support. This is a fast-paced, highly consultative, technology-forward environment.

\n Work arrangement: Remote (United States)
\n
\n Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 base salary
\n Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
\n
\n Responsibilities \n

\n\t
• Support month-end close activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for assigned client engagements \n\t
• Prepare journal entries and assist with full-cycle accounting processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and schedule support \n\t
• Reconcile bank and credit card transactions; over time, assist with crypto-related activity and crypto subledger, wallet, and exchange tie-outs as needed \n\t
• Support advisory workstreams such as bookkeeping, CFO advisory support, tax reconciliation support, and restructuring and cleanup initiatives \n\t
• Assist with tax-related accounting support, including reconciliation support, coordinating with tax teams, and audit support \n\t
• Participate in software implementations and process improvement initiatives; help document processes and improve controls and workflows \n\t
• Use and learn new tools and technology, including accounting systems and crypto accounting tools and subledgers, and contribute in a remote, distributed team environment\n

\n Qualifications \n\n

\n\t
• Bachelor`s degree in Accounting; related degrees such as Finance, Business, or Economics are acceptable \n\t
• 3 or more years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experience, including month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger support \n\t
• Prior crypto and digital asset accounting experience is not required; strong interest in the space is required \n\t
• Experience with QuickBooks required; exposure to NetSuite and Sage is a plus \n\t
• Comfortable working across multiple systems and using technology-forward tools in day-to-day accounting workflows \n\t
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities in a client-service environment with clear communication in a remote setting\n
