What You’ll Do (Your Day-to-Day) As a Billing Assistant , you’ll be part of the essential behind-the-scenes team that keeps everything running smoothly. Your responsibilities may include: Processing billing documentation with accuracy and care Reviewing patient and insurance information for completeness Preparing claims and supporting documents for timely reimbursement Following up on claim status and working through discrepancies Answering billing-related questions and assisting patients with next steps Updating records in our systems to keep information current Supporting the billing team with a variety of daily tasks and priorities (Tasks may vary based on experience and training—because we believe in learning on the job!)
