As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Services in Bronx, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a government healthcare location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate areas while supporting facility access procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
