Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse - Emergency Room!

Job Description:


- Role: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
- Department: 200326
- Shift: 3x12, Night shift 1900-0730
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Call Requirements: To Be discussed during the interview
- Licenses: NV RN license required prior to start
- Required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC or PALS
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience. Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment required.
- Additional Comments:
- Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
- May be required to work major holidays and is required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period (every 4 weeks).
- Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract.
- This may be full or partial shifts.
- Schedule varies based upon department needs including weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.

Hospital Information:


- Extremely busy and fast-paced environment serving a 500-mile radius.
- Level 2 trauma center with Stroke accreditation.
- 800 inpatient bed hospital with 80 ER beds.
- The volume and pace required to work here are that of a Level 1 trauma center.

Position Purpose:


- Provide optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the nursing process.
- Accountable for individualized patient outcomes over the entire episode of care.
- Deliver comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families/caregivers.

Nature and Scope:


- Challenge yourself to diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
- Provide optimal patient/resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Demonstrate cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to the population to be served and meet standards of quality.
- Coordinate care between other professionals as needed.
- Engage in intensive continuous mental effort to provide optimal safe patient care.
- This position provides hands-on patient care.
