Production Supervisor

Job Description Job Description As Production Supervisor, you will partner with the Production Manager in providing direction and oversight to the production team members.

Responsibilities include:

Communicate operating targets and progress against standards and expectations.

Assist with hiring, training and coaching.

Motivate the team regularly and ensure efficient operations by troubleshooting bottlenecks and working side by side with team members through the processes.

Utilize all employees efficiently and effectively to achieve production quotas

Rotate and cross train employees in order that they may be able to do several jobs as necessary

Monitor performance through the use of employee attainment recordkeeping

High energy level, strong leadership skills, independent thinker

Maintain clean work environment

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education, Experience, Training Required:

High School Diploma or GED preferred

2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably with a big box chain.

Consumer retail or thrift businesses preferred

2 years or more of managing teams through goal setting, productivity measurements and achieving targeted results
