Bookkeeper

Our client, a growing business in the Monticello area, is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Monticello, NY
Pay Range: $21.00–$23.00 per hour
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
What's the Job?
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in accounting software
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and financial records
- Prepare invoices, process payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain payroll records
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Previous bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration experience preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
