Pediatric Orthopedic Athletic Trainer - Weekdays (Day Shift)

Position Details: Full-Time Athletic Trainer (ATC) Outpatient Orthopedic Pediatric Clinic New Ballas Clinic Towers Monday–Friday | Day Shift Position Summary We are seeking a Full-Time Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our outpatient orthopedic pediatric clinic. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about working with pediatric and adolescent patients in a collaborative, physician-led environment. The Athletic Trainer will support orthopedic providers, assist with patient care, and contribute to high-quality clinical operations in a daytime, weekday-only setting. Schedule Full-Time Monday–Friday Day shift (no evenings, weekends, or holidays) Key Responsibilities Assist orthopedic physicians and clinical staff during patient visits and procedures Perform patient intake, documentation, and clinical flow coordination Apply and remove orthopedic devices (casts, splints, braces, boots, slings) Provide patient and family education on injury care, treatment plans, and rehabilitation protocols Support post-operative care, brace fitting, and functional assessments Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Serve as a clinical liaison between providers, patients, families, and therapy services Ensure a safe, efficient, and patient-centered clinic environment Comply with all clinic policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training Current BOC certification (ATC) Eligible for or holding state licensure (as required) CPR/AED certification Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and orthopedics preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting What We Offer Consistent weekday schedule with work-life balance Team-oriented outpatient orthopedic environment Opportunity to work closely with pediatric orthopedic specialists Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Supportive culture focused on patient-centered care and professional growth How to Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume for consideration.
