Veterinary Dentist and Oral Surgeon
Competitive base salary plus production, with no negative accrual Extremely generous sign-on bonus and retention bonus Full-time opportunity in Western Massachusetts Schedule: 4 days per week with no on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements
Why Join Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital
If you're looking for a place where you can practice advanced dentistry and oral surgery while having the freedom to shape your own service, Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH) offers an opportunity to do exactly that. You'll join an established 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital where innovation, professional growth, and quality of life are genuinely valued.
Your practice will be supported by a dedicated minimum two-person certified technician team and a specialty services liaison team, allowing you to focus on your patients rather than administrative details. You'll also have the autonomy to develop your own appointment and procedure schedule while working just four days per week with no on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements.
VESH serves the Western Massachusetts, Northern Connecticut, Southern Vermont, and New Hampshire veterinary communities and offers a collaborative environment with Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, and Emergency services. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and procedural technology, including Olympus endoscopy equipment, CT, fluoroscopy, digital X-ray, Logiq E10S ultrasound, a full blood bank, and a ventilator.
Culture is a major part of what makes VESH different. We prioritize cultural fit because we believe exceptional medicine starts with a team that communicates well, supports one another, and genuinely enjoys coming to work. You'll have the opportunity to bring your expertise to a growing specialty hospital while helping expand access to advanced dentistry and oral surgery throughout the region.
Location Highlight
The Pioneer Valley and Five College area of Western Massachusetts offers an exceptional combination of outdoor recreation, dining, arts, culture, and charming communities, all with a lower cost of living than nearby major cities. You'll also have convenient access to Boston and New York City, making it easy to enjoy both the relaxed pace of Western Massachusetts and the energy of major metropolitan areas.
