Description

As a nurse at Messiah Lifeways, you play a key role in ensuring exceptional resident care while leading and supporting your neighborhood's care team. You'll work in a collaborative, uplifting environment where nurses feel valued, respected, and empowered.

Ideal candidates must have previous rehab experience or a passion for supporting this work and must be willing to work 6:45pm to 7:15am with a rotating weekend and holiday assignments.

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality, person-centered nursing care to residents.
• Lead and support nursing team members on your assigned neighborhood and shift.
• Observe, assess, and document resident conditions while ensuring families and physicians are kept informed.
• Oversee and implement individualized care plans from admission through ongoing updates.
• Foster a safe, positive, and relationship-centered environment for residents and staff.
• Coordinate appointments, transportation, and interdepartmental communication.
• Support team accountability, including initiating disciplinary procedures when needed.

What You Bring

• Current LPN or RN license.
• Certified in CPR by an approved program that meets state and federal regulation.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay organized and focused in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with EHR systems and basic technology tools (preferred).
