About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Sioux City, Iowa, 51101!

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team in the provision and management of patient care
• Manage a general medical-surgical patient population with expected ratios of 1:4-5 during day shifts
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation, order management, and patient charting
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Participate in holiday coverage, including 2 of 3 designated winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)

• 2+ years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Active Iowa RN license or compact nursing license (must reflect Active status)
• Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license required
• Completed skills checklist specific to the Medical-Surgical discipline required
• 1 supervisory reference form completed within the last two years required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license)

• Heparin drip experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Gain experience at a Level 3 Trauma Center within a well-established acute care environment
• Overtime and call-back opportunities may be available for additional earning potential
