Reference Data Product Owner - Associate

Job Summary JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) is a leading global financial services firm. As a Reference Data Product Owner, you will work closely with Line of Business stakeholders, subject‑matter experts, consumers, and technology teams across Finance, Credit Risk, Liquidity, Treasury and Program Management. The Reference Data Team serves as the authoritative repository for financial, instrument, client, rate and instrument data. Job Responsibilities The Data Product Owner plays a crucial role in project planning, execution, and tracking to ensure successful delivery. Collect and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders Facilitate User Acceptance Testing cycles with key stakeholders to validate business requirements and ensure quality deliverables Articulate the product vision and strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives Organize, schedule, coordinate, and control project activities and resources Provide training and support to users, helping them understand the data product Identify issues and risks, define mitigation strategies, and manage risk communication or escalation processes Gather user feedback on the product to enhance functionality and user experience Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in product, financial services, technology, project management, or other relevant fields Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge Strong data analysis and visualization skillsets Effective communication skills (verbal and written) for engaging with business, technical stakeholders and management Experience working on projects that involve interaction with various stakeholders and technology within a financial domain Strong partnership skills and experience influencing key stakeholders Ability to perform in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments Preferred Qualifications SQL/querying knowledge Agile project management experience, including proficiency with agile project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Lucid Knowledge of JIRA, SQL, Microsoft applications, Databricks and data visualization/analytical tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Python) Experience with cross‑functional team collaboration Ability to streamline workflows and improve project efficiency Other Information Candidates must be able to physically work in our Newark, DE office 5 days a week.
