Registered Respiratory Therapist - OB Experience

Location: Washington State

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 0530 - 1800, 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing individualized comprehensive respiratory care to all patients based on thorough assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position requires strong experience in obstetrics (OB) and entails function with minimal supervision after orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care according to established protocols.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as required.
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures relevant to respiratory care.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Preferably one year of current acute care experience; new graduates may be considered.
• Ability to lift and maneuver patients as required.
• Auditory and visual acuity adequate to perform job duties and ensure patient safety.
