Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Kodiak, AK

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Variable | 3x12 Hours

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a critical access hospital setting. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced travelers and first-time travelers looking for an Alaska assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License

• ACLS Certification

• BLS Certification

• NRP Certification

• AWHONN Intermediate Certification

• Minimum 1 Year of Labor & Delivery Experience

• Ability to float within scope of practice

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being

• Perform patient assessments and fetal monitoring

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Assist physicians and providers during deliveries

• Respond to obstetrical emergencies and complications

• Educate patients and families regarding care plans

• Maintain accurate documentation

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

• Float to other units within scope as needed

Assignment Details

• First-Time Travelers Accepted

• Weekend Requirement: Yes

• On-Call Requirement: No

• Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 Weeks

• Facility may call off one 12-hour shift per pay period

• Housing Provided

• Rental Vehicle Provided
