Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

IDR is seeking a Senior QA Engineer - AI/GenAI to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in New York, NY. This role involves enhancing software quality and testing practices through automation, with a focus on leveraging AI and Generative AI technologies within enterprise environments. Position Overview for the Senior QA Engineer - AI/GenAI:
- Senior-level role focused on improving software engineering efficiency, testing practices, and automation capabilities across enterprise technology teams
- Combines hands-on software development, quality engineering, and AI-driven automation to design scalable solutions
- Seeks candidates with a strong development background, test automation expertise, and practical AI or Generative AI experience in engineering workflows
- Involves evaluating existing workflows and applying cutting-edge AI technologies to streamline processes and reduce manual effort
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and architects to drive engineering improvements
Requirements for the Senior QA Engineer - AI/GenAI:
- 10+ years of experience in software development, quality engineering, test automation, or related fields
- Strong hands-on programming and scripting skills, with expertise in modern automated testing frameworks and practices
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing test automation frameworks and reusable solutions
- Practical experience applying AI or Generative AI to software development, testing, or automation workflows
- Strong understanding of APIs, CI/CD pipelines, source control, Agile methodologies, and modern software delivery practices
