The position requires a reliable vehicle and travel to patients in facilities in Philadelphia and surrounding counties. Responsibilities: - Provide compassionate care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or care facilities - Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Assist with physical examinations under the direction of healthcare professionals - Support patients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring - Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients Qualifications: - Certification as a Hospice Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures - Experience in providing care for patients in various settings Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families - Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols - Physical ability to lift and move patients safely Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Physical Setting: Long term care Nursing home Assisted living Personal Care Residential Home Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Life insurance Mileage reimbursement Paid time off Work Location: On the road #J-18808-Ljbffr Caring Hospice Services
