Description

American Traveler is hiring a CVOR RN with required circulating experience in ortho, spine, and neuro surgeries for a 16-week assignment requiring an active CT or compact RN license.

Details

• Operating Room Unit setting
• CVOR RN position requiring both scrub and circulate skills, though scrubbing experience is preferred rather than mandatory
• Must be versatile and willing to work other surgical specialties as needed
• Variable and rotating shift start times including 7:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, and 1:00 PM
• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• On-call responsibilities required 3-4 times per month, including at least one weekend per month
• Rotating weekend and holiday call required
• 30-minute report time required for call-ins

Requirements

• Active RN license (CT or Compact) required, with CT license application required within 24 hours of assignment lock if not already held
• Copy of NURSYS required
• 4-5 years of OR RN experience or combined OR experience required
• Required circulating experience in ortho, spine, and neuro surgeries, performed independently
• Completed time off requests must be submitted at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Scrub and circulate in cardiovascular surgical cases, with flexibility to support other specialties as needed
• Scrubs are provided
• Subject to mandatory overtime as part of the unit's staffing rotation pool when additional coverage is needed
• Local candidates within 75 miles accepted at a lower bill rate
• Radius-based pay rate applies
• COVID and flu vaccines required, with medical and religious declinations allowed
