Overview RN ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) Part Time – 16 hours per week, no weekends. 6–8 hours per day, flex. Location: Piedmont Eastside, Snellville, GA. Behavioral Health The 62‑bed Behavioral Health Unit is seeking compassionate mental health clinicians to care for patients with psychiatric illnesses. This recovery‑oriented program offers opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative care environment. 62‑bed inpatient psychiatric center Adult psych unit (ages 18‑64) Geriatric psych unit (ages 65 and older – total care) Intensive outpatient program ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) New graduate program for RNs passionate about behavioral health Responsibilities Perform patient assessments including collection of physical, psychosocial, and health history data. Evaluate developmental age and appropriately interpret assessments, treatments, and patient/family education. Develop and implement a plan of care; identify additional information needed and make care decisions based on identified needs. Set and monitor expected patient outcomes. Carry out plan of care to achieve desired outcomes. Provide patient care specific to the setting, identified needs, and plan; ensure care is appropriate for severity of disease, condition, impairment or disability. Oversee activities of ancillary and support team members. Identify teaching opportunities and provide necessary resources for achieving educational goals of patients. Communicate relevant issues to the charge nurse, clinical manager, and/or physician as appropriate. Document patient care and concerns in the patient record. All Nursing Disciplines Collect pertinent data and information related to the healthcare consumer. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses, problems, and issues. Identify expected outcomes for individualized care plans. Develop and implement strategies to attain measurable outcomes. Coordinate care delivery. Promote health and a safe environment. Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes. Practice ethically and in line with diversity and inclusion principles. Communicate effectively in all areas of practice. Qualifications Education Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (required). Bachelor’s degree preferred. Work Experience No experience required; new graduates of a nursing program eligible (required). Prior nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred. 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred. Licenses & Certifications RN – Registered Nurse, Georgia State licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure (current license required). BCLS – Basic Life Support (required). Advanced certification in selected specialty, if applicable. Addendum – Specialty Certifications Cardiac Tele: ACLS required within 180 days. Critical Care: ACLS required within 180 days. Dialysis: CDN preferred. Emergency Department: ACLS and PALS required within 180 days. Infusion/Oncology: Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required upon hire. Pediatrics: PALS required within 180 days. Surgical Services: Pre‑Op/PACU/ENDO/CSU ACLS, PALS or BLS required within 180 days.
