Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical

Location: Brandon, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with MEDITECH experience to provide quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient outcomes and possess the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist with patient assessments and documentation.
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate patient care effectively.
• Participate in patient and family education.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using MEDITECH.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
• Previous experience in a medical-surgical unit preferred.
• MEDITECH experience is a must.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
