Insurance Sales Specialist

Insurance products are offered through United Financial Services, Inc. and affiliated Transamerica companies. Role Description The Insurance Sales Specialist is a full‑time, hybrid role based in Tampa, FL, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the specialist will consult with individuals, families, and businesses to assess insurance needs, recommend suitable products, and support long‑term financial security goals. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and developing new client relationships, conducting needs‑based discussions, presenting insurance solutions, and managing the application and underwriting process. The specialist will provide ongoing customer service, policy reviews, and support for claims‑related questions, while maintaining accurate records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with team members, participation in training and professional development, and adherence to ethical sales practices are key aspects of the role. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively recommend appropriate coverage and solutions. Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build lasting relationships and provide ongoing client support. Candidates should possess experience in Insurance Brokerage, including working with multiple carriers and product options. Candidates should possess knowledge of Health Insurance to explain benefits, coverage options, and regulatory considerations. Relevant state insurance licenses (or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe). Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Goal‑oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and manage time effectively. Comfort using CRM systems, digital tools, and remote communication platforms. Previous experience in financial services or consultative sales is beneficial.
