Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Occupational Therapist performs professional activities including planning, evaluating, establishing, and implementing individual and group treatment activities under the direction of a physician. The role involves interpreting physician referrals, conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, assisting patients with adaptive equipment, and providing discharge planning support.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of principles and practices of professional occupational therapy.
• Skill in organizing and instructing therapy activities.
• Ability to interpret prescriptions related to therapy.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff.
• Ability to communicate instructions and technical information to patients.
• Basic computer skills.

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
