Dental AssistantAt Acierno Dental our team is committed to making dental visits positive, stress-free and even fun!Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, values teamwork, and takes pride in helping create smooth, efficient, and positive dental visits.Schedule (days/hours)Hours can vary but office hours are Mon 7:30am-5:30pm; Tues-Thur 6:30am-7:30pm; Fri 6:30am-1:30pmResponsibilitiesAssist the dentist during a variety of clinical proceduresPrepare and disinfect treatment rooms and sterilize instrumentsTake and process dental radiographs (X-rays)Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease throughout their visitMaintain accurate patient records and clinical documentationFollow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocolsSupport patient flow and contribute to an efficient daily scheduleWork collaboratively with the team to ensure an excellent patient experienceQualificationsDental assisting experience preferredCPRKnowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminologyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational abilitiesAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentPositive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for patient careCompensation$20 - $25/hourBenefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off ("PTO"), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.Smile Brands supports over 650 affiliated dental practices across 28 states all focused on a single mission of delivering Smiles For Everyone!® Smiles for patients, providers, employees, and community partners.
