Overview

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on support for end-user computing environments. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting desktop and laptop systems, enterprise software applications, mobile devices, and related peripherals. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience supporting users in a corporate environment.

• Install, configure, and support Windows 11 workstations and laptops.
• Provide technical support for Microsoft Office, Adobe products, and other enterprise desktop applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application issues.
• Support desktop and laptop deployments, upgrades, and replacements.
• Configure and maintain peripherals including monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, webcams, and printers.
• Provide setup, troubleshooting, and support for mobile devices, including iOS platforms.
• Assist users with connectivity issues, application access, device configuration, and general technical support requests.
• Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions within the IT ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues as needed while maintaining ownership of customer communications.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

• 2+ years of desktop support, technical support, or help desk experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience supporting Windows 11 operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe applications.
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop software and operating systems.
• Hands-on experience supporting desktop and laptop hardware.
• Experience supporting peripherals including docking stations, monitors, keyboards, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of mobile device support, including iOS configuration, connectivity, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Experience working in an enterprise IT environment.
• Familiarity with device deployment, imaging, and asset management processes.
• Experience using ITSM or ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar platforms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hilo, HI.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
