Affordable Property Manager

Overview CRMG is looking for an Affordable Property Manager for the 146-unit Emmons Place Apartments in NW Portland's Alphabet District. Emmons Place is a newer, low-income housing tax credit community with amenities including a community lounge & courtyard, bike storage and resident services. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day property operations including marketing, maintaining property integrity, overseeing a team of 5, screening prospective residents, collecting rents, income certifications, serving notices, developing reports, and preparing agreements. Support a high-needs population, including those facing homelessness and mental health challenges, and manage and resolve complex housing issues. Location Emmons Place Apartments (NW Portland) Compensation and Schedule Hourly Rate: $29-$37/hr DOE Schedule: FT, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Weekly Contracted Hours: 40 hours Additional Compensation: A monthly $50 cell phone stipend; mileage reimbursement for business travel Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; Employer-paid Life Insurance; Employee-paid voluntary Insurance options; Flexible Spending Account 401(k) with employer match (eligible after 90 days) Employee Assistance Program Paid Sick Time, Vacation, 10 paid Holidays, and Birthday off A Skills Assessment test will be conducted prior to extending an offer. Requirements Two (2) years of customer service experience One (1) year of property management experience Three to four years of management experience in affordable housing (PBV and PSH) Familiarity with local housing authorities, non-profits and service providers in affordable housing Yardi Property Management experience preferred MS365 (Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel) Basic math skills; ability to perform bookkeeping tasks Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication Ability to learn quickly with strong attention to detail Available for after-hours emergencies Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws, state and federal labor laws, Fair Housing, Multnomah County Tenant Laws, and safety protocols High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver\'s license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance About Us Income Property Management recently acquired C&R Management Group, reshaping the history to Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG).
