Quality Assurance Technician

Job TitleThis position requires the ability to demonstrate control of assigned department; monitor in process product, environmental evaluations, and real-time determination for food safety and quality.The role involves conducting pre-operational inspections; lock out/tag out with verification, equipment disposition, and efficient communication with support teams (Sanitation, Maintenance, and Production).Effective navigation of quality tools and equipment such as scales, calipers, thermometers, Sightline, and Infinity is necessary.A strong understanding of production flow; production codes, size limits, and label attributes is required.Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official such as product tampering, unauthorized employees in restricted area, and equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake.Follow the written specification for packaging and labeling of products.Exhibit the Peco-Pocahontas values: Safety, Teamwork, Mutual Respect, Accountability, and Honesty.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
