Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Weill Cornell Medical Center

New York-Presbyterian Hospital is inviting Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our team at Weill Cornell Medical Center. Our CRNAs deliver patient-centered anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures, including cardiac, vascular, neurosurgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, emergency surgery, and diagnostic procedures. They also provide one-on-one anesthesia instruction for Columbia University and Fairfield University’s Nurse Anesthesia Program and participate in the David H. Koch Ambulatory Surgery Center and Steven & Alexandra Cohen Women’s Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgeries, obstetrics, and diagnostic procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to plan and deliver anesthesia care.
• Provide anesthesia education and support to nursing students in the Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Participate in minimal OB call duties as required.
• Work flexible schedules, with available 8, 10, 13, and 24-hour shifts as a full-time position.

Preferred Criteria

• At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
• Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or Doctor of Nursing Science (DNAP).

Required Criteria

• Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Master of Science in Nursing.
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
• BCLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification.

• Salary range: $270,000–$335,000 per year.

All positions require on-site presence. Employees must reside within a commutable distance to New York-Presbyterian. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.
