SUMMARY

As a senior specialist for supplier quality you will provide quality planning, control, and improvement support for engineering, global procurement & supply chain, and manufacturing to assure Oshkosh Corporation product quality meets the customers' expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verifysuppliermanufacturingprocesses(PFMEA,Control Plans, CpkandPpkstudies,etc.) for stabilityandcontrol.

  • FacilitateAdvancedProduct QualityPlanning(APQP) techniques withsuppliersandinternalstakeholdersMonitorsandfacilitatesqualityactivities for ProductionPartApproval Process(PPAP).

  • Verifiesprocesscontrol, capabilityandsustainability of the supplier.Investigatesupplierqualityissuesconcerningproductsand/or processes.

  • Executestandardsupplier qualityprocesses to facilitateissueresolutionandvalidation

  • Gatherand analyzeinternal andexternal data to helpidentifyexposure,impact, root causesandcorrectiveactions

  • Perform suppliercertificationthrough the Global SupplierQualityAudit

  • Support the Global SupplierQualityCouncilthroughcontinuousimprovement.

  • Ability to travel domesticallyandinternationally as required.EstimatedTravel expectations - 30%

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor'sdegree

  • 3-plusyearsofexperience in specific areas ofPurchasing such as:supplierintegration,strategicsupplymanagement,supplier development, scheduling, forecasting,logistics,etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor'sdegreeinQualityEngineering, Industrial Engineeringor relatedfield

  • ProjectManagement Professional Certification

  • Priorsupplymanagementleadershipexperience

  • Priorproject managementexperience

  • Understandingofoperations

  • Skillininterpersonal communications, negotiation, andconflict resolution

  • Understandingof fundamental businessprinciples and practices

  • Knowledge and applicationofSupplyManagementProcessesandtools

  • Cross-functional workexperience(s)inmultiplemajor areas such as: Accounting,ProductEngineering, Quality, ManufacturingOperations,Warehousingand/or Distribution,ProductionEmployeesupervision,SupplyManagement,Marketing, HumanResources,Industrial Engineering,etc. (Crossfunctional workexperience(s)in 2 major areas such as: Quality,ManufacturingOperations, SupplyManagement,Marketing, etc.)

Pay Range:

$73,200.00 - $117,800.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
