The Certified Medical Assistant - Ksa Spanish provides clinical support to the patient care team directed towards the prevention of disease and promotion of health using professional clinical support for quality patient care.
As the Certified Medical Assistant - Ksa Spanish you will:
- Provide patient follow-up (i.e.: after visit instructions, setting appointments, patient education, communicate normal lab results and reminder phone calls)
- Support back office clinic flow and time management for providers.
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures.
- Review immunizations, forecast and administer immunizations for clients of all ages.
- Perform medical treatments such as simple wound care, ear irrigations, suture removal and fluoride treatments.
- Ensure the exam room is stocked, cleaned and ready for use.
- Provide back-up lab duties including phlebotomy and processing labs.
- Complete assigned quality control/assurance activities
- Provide back-up to the preventative ma.

Minimum qualifications (required):
- Education: Requires graduation from an accredited medical assistant training program.
- Certification: Certification through a nationally recognized medical assistant certification program, such as aama, amt, ncct, or ccma. Candidates hired will be expected to become certified after hire.
- ***If you do not have the certification you must have a diploma from an accredited medical assistant training program***
- Knowledge, skills and abilities (ksa): This position requires the ability to speak, read and write fluently in spanish and english (language testing may be required).
Other:
- Cpr certification is required (valid cpr certification must be provided upon hire)
- Depending upon assignment, candidates may be required to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

This recruitment aims to fill various positions, including:
- Regular full-time: Standard, ongoing employment.
- Limited duration appointment (lda): Temporary employment valid for up to two years.
- On-call: Positions working up to 20 hours per week as needed.
- Temporary: Full-time positions (40 hours a week) for a maximum of six months.
- Float: Positions involving varied locations and schedules.
