We value the diverse perspectives and talents each person brings and believe that our differences make us stronger.All employees are subject to and must execute an Employment Agreement that includes a restrictive covenant (Non-Compete, Non-Disclosure).Scott Electric has a current opening at our Cleveland, OH branch for a Full-Time Warehouse Assistant Manager (Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5:00 pm).Responsibilities:Assigns workers to accurately pull all customers' orders and ship in specified timeframeAdministers company safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employeesCommunicates with inbound and outbound freight companiesAssists in managing the fleet of trucks and driversAssists in establishing operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and the accurate keeping of warehouse inventoryCoordinate's activities of the warehouse with activities of central purchasing, merchandising, sales, and finance departments to ensure availability of merchandise and proper execution of administrative transactionsCommunicate information to Operations Manager, Warehouse Manager, and/or Warehouse Supervisor in a timely manner to expedite merchandise receipt, shipping, and special handlingDirects reclamation of damaged merchandiseCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable lawsTraining employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problemsRequirements:Minimum 3 years previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in similar management positionsRegularly lift and carry up to 50 lbsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and managementTime management skills and the ability to delegateExcellent leadership and organizational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry softwareAbility to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlScott Electric offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible spending accountTuition reimbursementPaid holidaysEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Schedule:8-hour shiftWork Location: In person
