Current Opening: Our team seeks a dedicated legal assistant with 1+years of relevant experience to join our Astoria, Oregon office. In this position, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our law firm, and you will ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of our office. This role features first-hand experience in litigation, litigation preparation, and conflict resolution providing support to one of the managing shareholders of our firm. Our ideal candidate is curious, hard-working, quick on their feet, and eager to serve our clients. This is an excellent role for someone interested in the law and perhaps interested in law school or becoming a Licensed Paralegal. Key Working Factors to consider: Your primary base of work is from the Astoria office. Our firm operates with urgency, candor, and resilience to appropriately work through high-pressure situations with grace and ease. We leave nothing to chance and have processes in place to guide you. Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM. Primary work tasks include: Discovery processing Litigation and mediation preparation Oral and written communication with attorneys, judicial staff, and clients.
