Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and detailed medical history assessments.
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results.
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans.
• Provide intraoperative assistance, such as preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments throughout procedures.
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, performing wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients.

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Prior clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis are strongly preferred.

Required Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
